Eileen M. Crochetiere 1945-2002 CHICOPEE - Eileen M. (Drasye) Crochetiere, 56, of 1428 Granby Road, Chicopee, and formerly of South Hadley died March 19, 2002, at home. She was born in Tupper Lake, NY. Eileen was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, South Hadley. She had worked various jobs in the area. She was predeceased by one brother, Maynard Drasye, in 2001. She is survived by her husband, Francis J. Crochetiere; her son, Lance B. Crochetiere and her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Diane Crochetiere, all of Chicopee; her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Richard Draghi of Iowa, and her daughter, Jolene Crochetiere of Chicopee; her mother, Rosa (Dubey) Drasye of Tupper Lake, NY; three brothers, Donald Drasye of Piercefield, NY, and Gary and Gordon Drasye, both of Tupper Lake, NY; six sisters, Betty and Clara View and Marie Fernandes, all of South Hadley, Veronica Cramer of Holyoke, Shirley Houle of Chicopee, and Bernadette Morrissey of Long Lake, NY; one grandson, Ryan Crochetiere; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. from the Ryder Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Church with burial in St. Rose Cemetery, all of South Hadley. Calling hours are Friday evening 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 31 Capital Drive, West Springfield, MA 01089.
